NDA Marks 12 Years in Power as BJP Highlights Governance, Development and Public Welfare Achievements
The Bharatiya Janata Party marked 12 years of the NDA government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a major exhibition in New Delhi. BJP National President Nitin Nabin highlighted achievements in governance, infrastructure, digital transformation, healthcare, women's empowerment and farmer welfare, while the Prime Minister reaffirmed his commitment to a developed India by 2047.
The exhibition was inaugurated by BJP National President Nitin Nabin, who described the past twelve years as a transformative period in India's political and developmental journey. In a post on social media platform X, Nabin said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's swearing-in twelve years ago ushered in a new era focused on service, good governance and public welfare.
Nabin stated that Prime Minister Modi is on course to become the longest-serving democratically elected Prime Minister in India's history. He further asserted that the government has brought renewed momentum to several sectors, including welfare programmes for economically weaker sections, agricultural prosperity, women's empowerment, opportunities for young people, expansion of healthcare facilities, digital transformation and large-scale infrastructure development.
According to Nabin, the foundation of this transformation has been Prime Minister Modi's commitment to public service and governance. He said party workers and supporters remain committed to achieving the national objective of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047 through collective efforts.
The exhibition attracted visitors who praised the government's performance over the past decade. Visitor Abhishek Patel said the administration's work has been built on public trust, pointing out that the BJP-led government has secured a third consecutive term in office. He credited the government with promoting development across sectors, strengthening the nation and encouraging self-reliance through support measures such as incentives for startups and access to loans.
Another visitor, Akanksha Chaturvedi, described the exhibition as a reflection of the development, trust and public welfare initiatives undertaken during Prime Minister Modi's tenure. She said the displays represented the achievements that have contributed to India's growth and national development.
Visitor Shashwat expressed appreciation for BJP workers and highlighted what he described as the government's contributions during Prime Minister Modi's twelve years in office. He stated that the administration has strengthened India's position at the national level and provided direction and goals for the country's youth. He also claimed that efforts have been made to combat drug abuse, empower women and improve women's safety, enabling them to work and move freely with confidence.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also marked the occasion by stating that the past twelve years of his government have been dedicated to trust, development and public welfare. In a message posted on X, the Prime Minister said that, with the support of 1.4 billion citizens and guided by the principle of placing the nation first, the government has made every effort to empower young people, women and the farming community.
The Prime Minister said the country's achievements in infrastructure development and the digital revolution have helped create a new global identity for India. He reiterated the government's commitment to advancing the vision of a developed India and affirmed that it would continue working toward service, good governance and prosperity.
The exhibition and accompanying statements from party leaders, supporters and the Prime Minister underscored the BJP's effort to present the NDA government's twelve-year tenure as a period of sustained development, welfare-focused governance and national transformation, while reinforcing its long-term vision for India's future growth and global standing.
